· Step 1: Choosing
the right platform for your website!
What do we mean by platform?
Well, back in 2004, most sites were built using HTML
(code), CSS and even Flash. These took a lot of time to learn and were tricky
to master.
For those who have no knowledge whatsoever of
coding, content management systems(CMS) is the new ray of hope.
In 2016, content management systems (CMS) like
WordPress have made creating a website accessible to everyone.
To put simply, a content management system (or
website building platform) is a user-friendly platform for building websites
and managing your own online content, instead of using a bunch of loose HTML
pages.

companies that offer you hosting will also offer domain name purchase. Usually
the payment is annual.
Hosting refers to you
buying a server space from companies like hostgator.com or godaddy.com to store
the files that your website would need to function (for e.g. images, text etc)
